Fish challenge POTW

I just went through all the Fish challenges from a couple weeks ago. WOW, ladies!! All of you are so talented.

As promised, BBTB2 is going to start choosing a project each week and passing out the new and official "Project of the Week at BBTB2" blinkie to add to your blog.

All of the entries were fabulous, but this one from Kate really struck me. My kids are struggling through swimming lessons and I thought it would be a great idea to give the instructor a thank you card. Of course, if you've read my blog, you'll know that the instructor should get a thank you note for every lesson.

Anyway, check out Kate's card:

It's a fish on a chocolate chip cookie. LOL! Go check out her blog to see how she made it.

Thank you everyone for playing with us. We always enjoy looking at your creations.

Also, don't forget to sign up for the iCopic giveaway. Today is the last day.

Paper Doll Dress Up - Genie Lamp Cut Challenge

Who wouldn't be delighted to find a Genie lamp? You know, the kind that you rub and out pops a Genie that gladly grants you three wishes. BBTB2 Designer Julia Moss from Scraphappy wants to make that happen for you, so she's lined up a challenge that will put one right in your hand! Although a Genie probably won't pop out of this particular lamp or grant you three wishes...you will have to use your Cricut to create it, so heck, that's almost as good! The Genie Lamp that Julia has selected for this week's Cricut cut is from Paperdoll Dress Up. It is "Accessories 2" located on page 39 of the manual. On the keyboard overlay it is the first button on the second row.

I'm Beth Moore from Runs With Scraps, a member of the BBTB2 Design Team and this week, since Julia is out of town, I volunteered to host the blog, in her place for this challenge, which means I'll have the honor of selecting this week's winner. I can hardly wait to see all of the beautiful Genie lamp creations that you enter here at BBTB2 to play along with us! And don't forget, you have the chance to win a sweet blog button if your project wins the challenge.

Now, check out all the projects our Designers created to inspire you to use your Cricut!

We're also blog hopping this week. Be sure to check the list down below of all the participants and hop along for a chance to win.

Once Upon a Princess-Rainbow Challenge

Hi everyone! This is Joanna here, I'm one of the newer members to the design team and I am loving it! I have been a scrap-booker for about 6 years now and a card-maker for about 2 years. When I first got my Cricut I use to always visit the original BBTB and I got so much inspiration and great ideas there, I never thought I would ever be good enough to be apart of this team. But here I am! And it's been great being able to create things next to the other fabulous designers! If you'd like to visit my blog, click HERE.
This week I choose the Rainbow image from Once Upon a Princess. I just love that cartridge and I thought the DT would have fun with it. I hope you all can join in and share your projects with us, we love seeing what you all make! If you don't have this cartridge yet, feel free to use any other rainbow and play along!

Reader's Choice Camp Out Curved Fish

You asked for it, so you get it!! We had a request for a cut from the Camp Out cartridge. It's been awhile since I've used this cartridge. I don't know why because there are so many cute things on it. I had a hard time choosing a cut, but I eventually settled on the curved fish. I thought it would be a good choice with Father's Day coming up. My dad doesn't fish, so I'm not sure why I made this connection. Oh well, I hope our cuts inspire you to create something this week.

If you have the Camp Out cart, share your fish projects with us using Linky below. If you don't have the Camp Out cart, you can still play along. Find a fish on another cart and link us up.

We're starting something new this week, too. We have a new blinkie to put on your blog! We'll choose a participant each week to award with the Project of the Week at BBTB2 blinkie.

Thank you to Sharon for making us a new blinkie!

Sweet & Sassy Stamps and Doodlecharms

Good morning everyone!
I am so excited to share our sponsor this month: Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is a Christian digi stamp company offering a wide variety of hand drawn digital stamp designs and sentiments for the digital stamper or scrapbooker. We started out as a clear stamp company back in November 2007 and made the change over to all digital in February 2010. We have hundreds of fabulous digis to choose from starting at just $.99. Check us out at http://sweetnsassystamps.com.

I also asked the designers to use the Sun cut from the Doodlecharms cart. I LOVE what they have done this week. I hope you do, too!

A new sponsor also means a new contest. Look for a new contest in a few days. As always, please feel free to play along with us using the Sun cut from Doodlecharms or if you don't have that cart, please feel free to use a sun from another cart. Link us up using Linky below.
