Winter Frolic - Ornament and Deck the Halls Phrase

Welcome Friends to our last challenge of November. Jeri here to set our challenge. Before I tell you what we'd like to see, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our faithful followers. It is so nice of you to check in each week, we appreciate it. Now that Thanksgiving is over and it's "officially" the holiday season, I really wanted to come up with a challenge for the season. So I thought to myself, now that the turkey's been cooked, the food's been eaten, the football games have been played, the Black Friday shopping is over...what will everyone be doing...decking their halls. So the challenge this week is to use the Winter Frolic cartridge. I'd like to see you COMBINE the phrase Deck the Halls (pg. 64) with either of the ornaments on pages 64 or 65. Now remember, if you don't have the Winter Frolic cartridge you can use another font from another cartridge to make the phrase Deck the Halls and COMBINE it with an ornament from any other cartridge. This will be my first opportunity to choose a winner of the challenge, so I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

The Doggy Card Winner

Good morning and happy Tuesday to all. I am here to announce the winner of my challenge featuring a little dog. You can see Gigi's entry here. What a cute idea to have a sweet dog on a gift card and envelope. Gigi, please email me and I will get you the BBTB2 blinkie for your blog. Thanks to all for entering.

Hello Kitty Greetings

Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a great week and for our American friends, I hope you already have your turkey in the fridge defrosting. If not, get it in there pronto!

This week, I've asked the Design Team to use the Santa dressed Hello Kitty from Hello Kitty Greetings cart. Christmas is just around the corner and if you haven't started already, it's time to start thinking about the holidays. I don't get to use this cart too often, so it was fun to dust it off and play.

Please play along with us. Link your creation using McLinky below and be sure to mention BBTB2 in your blog post! If you don't have the Hello Kitty Greetings cart, please use whatever you have that is similar.

Give Thanks Challenge (Thanksgiving Cartridge)

Hi, this is Donna Mundinger and I'm happy to be hosting this week's challenge. As Thanksgiving approaches I think it's appropriate to reflect upon our lives and count our many blessings so I've chosen "Give Thanks" from the Thanksgiving Cartridge. If you do not own it you may use "Thanks" from any cartridge. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Heather and the rest of my Design Team Sisters for their inspiration, love and friendship and all of you wonderful readers for your loyal support. I feel truly blessed.

Two winners!!

I'm announcing two winners today! One is for the Halloween parade (chosen at random) and the other is for POW for the Pointing Hand from GS.

Congratulations to Sharon and Danny the zombie!! What a cool costume! You win a Fiskars Easy Stamp Press. Please send me your address so I can get that out to you. Now, I'm going to watch The Walking Dead on AMC. ;)

In addition, I'd like to congratulate Sharon (a different one) for her beautiful layout.

I love the way she cut out a silhouette of the hand so that beautiful background paper shows through. I also love the way she sprinkled the pink flowers around.

Congratulations, Sharon!!

Thank you everyone for playing with us. We LOVE to see your work. Sharon will get a BBTB2 POW blinkie for her blog.

Create A Critter Dog

We are in the second week of November and I am still shaking my head that this year has flown past us so quickly. Hi....it's me...Carole.... and it's my week to select the challenge for the design team. I love all of my cartridges from Cricut, and Create A Critter sits near the top. I have selected this cartridge for the challenge and I asked the gals to use the dog die cut on Page 35.
Remember..... you can join in the challenge even if you do not have Create A Critter. There are many cartridges from Cricut that have darling doggy cuts, so make up a card, post it on BBTB2 via Mr. Linky.

I have some very exciting news to announce! We have a new Designer here at Bitten By the Bug 2. Maria McGuire has joined the team! You will love her work, too. Welcome aboard, Maria. It's great to have you here. --Heather

Project of the Week - Haunted House

Hi this is Susan the design team member who tortured her DT sister's by selecting the Haunted House challenge.  I had so much fun creating the Haunted House for the Happy Hauntings house challenge.  My biggest and most unfounded fear was that our readers might night want to play along.  Boy, oh boy, was I ever wrong!!  We had fabulous haunted entries and I loved each and every one.  It was really tough to choose, but I loved all of the details and the finishing techniques that Cheryl put into her Haunted Asylum. And for that reason I have selected Cheryl's house as our Project of the Week. You can see Cheryl's house HERE and read about all of the amazing techniques she used in creating her haunted house.

Thank you again to everyone who joined the Haunted House challenge.  You houses were all amazing !!

Cindy Loo Flourish

Happy November 1 everyone! I hope you had a great Halloween and you are now surrounded with chocolates. Chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 8 weeks, right?

It's that time of month again....Reader's Choice. We've been asked to use Cindy Loo. I chose the flourish on page 30. If our designers didn't have Cindy Loo, they could use a flourish from another cart.

What would you like to see us use? Give us suggestions, please!!

As always, play along with us and link up your project using Linky below. Sometimes Linky disappears for a bit, but I always try to get it back up as soon as I can. In a few weeks, we'll choose a winner for Project of the week. We'll send you a BBTB2 POW blinkie you can proudly display on your blog.

Thanks for everything,

Heather
