Valentines Love Anything Goes

Hello, Maureen here.  I think love is in the air - I see hearts and valentines everywhere.  Can you believe only two weeks until Valentines Day? Our theme for this week's challenge is Valentines and/or Love - Anything Goes.   I bet many of you have been creating your Valentine's Day cards and projects for a few weeks.  We would love you to share your projects with us. I went a little out of the box this week with an altered heart-shaped picture frame for a special grandma. Our designers went all-out and have spectacular cards and projects to share - who doesn't love hearts.   Enjoy - Maureen

Winner of Snow Much Fun challenge

Hi everyone, it's Michelle here with the winner of the Snow Much Fun challenge last week.  Loved all the fun entries but my favorite was the snowy bendy card that Bonnie made!  It was both funny and full of adorable snowmen from Doodlecharms (which is one of my most favorite cartridges).  Congratulations Bonnie!

Ice Skate Challenge

Hello friends, Susan here to bring you our Cricut Challenge. Many of you are experiencing traditional winter weather, something I have not seen in years.  I grew up in Michigan and one of my favorite winter time activities was ice skating. I lived in a neighborhood on a small lake and I loved to grab my skates and head to the lake.  Of course there was the challenge of avoiding my brother's hockey pucks, but it was otherwise delightful.

This week use any Cricut cut ice skate on a project of your choice.  Link your project below this post for a chance to be our Project of the Winner.

Also remember that every participant in January will have the chance to win a box of wonderful supplies generously donated by Cricut:  mats, more mats, two cartridges and a brand new scraper! To be eligible to win the box of goodies from Cricut, you will need to participate in our January challenges!!  We will still have our regular project of the week winners - who receive a hardy congratulations - but all of the January participants will go into a random drawing for the Cricut prize box.  For more chances to win, plan to join our challenge every week in January!!

And now for our Ice Skate challenge:

Winter Wonderland, Family Album, Artbooking

Caroline - Celebrate with Flourish

Valentyna - Sweater Weather

Michelle - Family Album

Elvis Challenge Winner!

We had so much fun here at Bitten by the Bug 2 with the Elvis themed challenge last week and we hope you did too!  There were so many great projects submitted with very clever connections to Elvis and we loved them all.  However, I needed to choose one project as the winner for the week so please help me in congratulating Glenda from Glenda's Cards who created my favorite!

I especially loved the background paper she chose and the fabulous guitar cut from Nifty Fifties.  If you visit her website, you will also see how she decorated the inside of the card with lots of embossing.  The recipient of this card will be extra lucky!!

Remember that everyone who submits a project to ANY of the BBTB2 challenges during the month of January will be entered into a drawing to win a wonderful prize package from Cricut!  The more projects you share this month, the more chances you have to win!

Winner - Project of the Week - Anything New for 2017

We have a winner for our first Cricut challenge of 2017!!  Our challenge was pretty wide open - with the theme of anything NEW - a craft related item, the word New, or a new Cricut cartridge.   I really liked one in particular out of all the great submissions this past week.   Cheryl, from Even More Scrapping, submitted a layout of the New Year's Day Rose Parade, adorning her layout with Cricut flowers.   I love her ability to show off her skills as well as pretty pictures.  Congratulations Cheryl.  Happy New Year Everyone!

Don't forget that the Cricut folks have donated a great prize package for Bitten By the Bug2's challenges.  All you need to do to be in the running is submit a project/card/layout to our Link-up during our January challenges.  See Monday's post for the details!      ----Maureen
